The Boathouse-Mahe:The restaurant is within the walking distance from Beau Vallon Bay and is always packed.The food is delicious especially the Creole Buffet.
The Pirates Arms: It's in a great location, right in the centre of Victoria, with a friendly atmosphere, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced too!
The Frangipani Terrace Restaurant at the Plantation Club: A different themed buffet dinner every night, with live music. A dinner with a beer or soft drink costs around $50 per head. Recommended are the Fisherman's buffet on a Sunday night, and the Asian buffet on a Saturday. It's always great service at the weekends.

The amount of rainfall throughout the year varies with the altitude and is much higher on the southern sides of the islands, which are exposed to a strong southeast trade-wind. Generally, the rainfall ranges from moderate to heavy and November through to March are usually the wet months. The combination of high temperature and high humidity is cooled slight by regular daytime sea breezes. The nights can feel hot and muggy, even oppressive, particularly for tourists unaccustomed to it.
