Description of Holiday Guesthouse / B & B
Rosenhof is a large Austrian style house, we offer B&B in a comfortable room. The rooms are spacious with modern ensuite bathrooms. We have a large lounge where guests gather in the evenings to chat about their days adventures in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We have a playroom for children of all ages complete with playstation 2.
When they have had enough skiing there is plenty more to keep them entertained. If they still have the energy you could visit the local swimming pool or maybe take a walk or build a snowman. . We have a large lounge with separate kids play area. All bed rooms have TV's and the lounge has a large wide screen TV, DVD player with surround sound with PS2.
We also have a wide selection of games for all ages.
Apartment for 4 People:
We also have a self catering studio apartment sleeping up to 4 people. It has one large room with a double bed and double sofa bed. The room has a balcony with great mountain views, fully equipped kitchen and modern en-suite facilities.
This apartment costs 70 euros per night in high season and 65 euros per night in low season.

During the ski season we have designed packages that will not only help you enjoy your holiday to the full but are also
keenly priced. Your holiday will include 7 nights accommodation in our beautiful Austrian Guesthouse. All rooms have modern
en-suite facilities, TV & great mountain views. In addition we open our lounge for our guests to share with us which includes 37" wide screen TV, DVD with surround sound, English TV channels and Play Station 2.

Skiing Facilities
We have a small ski area in the local village about 5 minute drive and within 30 minutes drive we have 3 more ski resorts, Dashstein-West offering 140km of skiing.
Beaches / Coast
We are about a 10 minute drive from a stunning lake set up in the mountains, in the summer the water can reach 27 degrees and is wonderful to swim in or just sit on the peble beach and admire the view.
Special Interest
We are set in the Lakes and Mountains district in Austria offering Cycling, Skiing, walking in the mountains and kite surfing, sailing, wind surfing on the lakes and rafting, cayoning on the rivers. It's an exciting area offering something for everyone.

To reach us by car leave Salzburg Airport and follow signs to the A1 towards Linz and Wien. Follow the A1 for about 15 minutes to the Thalgau Exit. Turn right (past Sony factory) and continue for about 10 minutes until you come to a roundabout. Turn left passing through the village of "Hof by Salzburg" and continue past lake Fuschl until you drop down to a roundabout, turn right through St Gilgen and follow road along lake Wolfgang. Continue past Bad Ischl through tunnel following signs to Ebensee and Gmunden. After about 10 minutes take turning for Roith. Turn right on bridge over main road and right again at junction. At next T junction turn left. Follow road taking right fork at "Mini Markt". After about a mile take a left turn into Lahnstraße. We are about 500m on the left. We have our own parking area directly outside the house.

Our nearest airports are Salzburg and Linz, both about 1 hours drive to Ebensee. Alternatively, you can fly to Munich which is about three hours away.
