Description of Holiday Chalet-Apartment

The Mountain Refresh Chalet apartment is located on the ground floor of a recently built chalet. It sleeps up to 6 people (+ a baby) and has been given an official rating of 3 stars.

Facing south, it has direct access to a large garden, from where you can take in the stunning views of glaciated peaks and jagged mountain crags.

This comfortable, well equipped 50m2 apartment has 2 bedrooms; a twin and a double. There is additional sleeping capacity in the lounge with the choice of 2 double sofa beds.

There is a large bathroom with spa-jet shower and heated towel rail and a fully fitted kitchen which includes a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge. The kitchen area forms part of the open plan dining/lounge room. There is a CD player, TV and DVD player and a selection of films.

Peace and tranquility will be yours, as Mountain Refresh is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the hamlet of Bionnay. This sunny location is just a few minutes from the centre of St Gervais and the village of Les Contamines.

We do recommend a car for this location, although the nearest bus stop is just 2 minutes walk from the front door where buses can take you to either St Gervais or Les Contamines.

Skiing Facilities

There are an amazing 500kms of piste throughout the Evasion ski domain, which includes St Gervais, Les Contamimes and Megeve. The lift system is highly efficient and there are runs to suit all abilities, from wide open greens and blues to steep narrow blacks. There are 3 half pipes and 2 'fun-parks' as well as flood-lit skiing facilities. Off-piste skiing is abundant and possibilities for ski-touring are endless! The chalet apartment is 5 minutes to the St Gervais cable car and 8 minutes from Les Contamines

Beaches / Coast

Just 15 minutes away you'll find lakes for fishing and water sports, with dedicated beaches and swimming areas, where you can swim whilst looking up at the towering summits of Mont-Blanc.
St Gervais is also renowned for its thermal spa baths.

The beautiful valley of St Gervais and Les Contamines is located at the foot of the Mont Blanc and is the ideal spot for any mountain enthusiast.

In winter the valley resorts boast a whopping 500 km of marked ski runs, some epic off-piste, and perhaps best of all, almost no lift queues. During the summer we have some of the finest walks in all of Europe, some cracking mountain bike trails and an endless list of other activities.

St Gervais and Les Contamines are some of the easiest resorts in the French Alps to get to and yet still remain relatively undiscovered and unspoilt.
