Description of Holiday Guesthouse / B & B
Gordonvilla is located in a quiet residential area only 30 minutes form Montego Bay Town Centre and approximately 20 minutes from Sangster International Airport. Gordon villa is on ½ acre of land consisting of lawns, flowers, and vegetable and fruit trees. It has a full size swimming pool with a magnificent view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
The accommodation consists of three double bedrooms and lounge, dining area. All rooms have a ceiling fan, double closet and ample storage space. The master and second bedroom each have a double bed whilst the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and bath tub. Connecting the two remaining rooms is a spacious en-suite bathroom that is shared exclusively by persons occupying the two rooms. There is a third separate bathroom.
A weekly maid service is provided. Linen and towels including beach towels are provided. Bed linen are changed weekly, towels exchanged daily or as required. Meals can be eaten either in the open plan dining area overlooking the swimming pool and gardens, or on the pool deck, which ever is preferred.
The open plan lounge is comfortable and fully equipped with cable TV and a modern music centre. The lounge, dining area and pool deck offers a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Complimentary fruits are available in season.
The live in staff provide security, airport shuttle service and weekly maid service.
A complimentary light evening meal is provided to all guests on the day of arrival. There is a daily choice of traditional Jamaican ,English or Continental Breakfast for those who wish to take up the Bed & Breakfast option.

There is a wealth of golf Courses along the North Coast of Jamaica; many are frequented by celebrities and the rich and famous. Do you want to "Tee off" on a 5 star golf course whilst on holidays and not have to pay the exuberant cost of a 5 star hotel? Yet enjoy 5 star accommodation and services? We are under 10 minutes from the SuperClub Golf Course (18 holes) 15 minutes from the Half Moon Golf Course (18 holes), Cinnamon Hill (18 holes) White Witch at the Ritz Carlton (18 holes) approx. 45 minutes to the Grand Lido Braco (9 holes) and approximately 45 minutes toTryall with it's 18 holes.
To enable you to make the best choice of golf course, and to assist with your holiday budgetting, we are happy to get you up to date quotes for the hire of equipment, carts, caddies etc also golf lessons if required.
Scuba Facilities
Scuba and Snorkling: plunge into an underwater world of deep secrets. You'll be astounded by the reckscape of caves, canyons and crevices, which hold a rainbow of shimmering tropical fish, star, rose and giant pillar coral. All the equipment you will need from flippers to tanks, is available for hire.
Horse Riding Facilities
Let yourself go. Gallop along the shores or trot through banana, sugar and coconut plantations. Wind your way up into the hills where, at the top, your horse gets a rest and you a stunning vista. 15 minutes form Gordonvilla is the Rocky Point Riding Stables at Half Moon. Your horseback riding experience of a lifetime is only a phone call away. To assist with your holiday budget, we are happy to obtain quotations on your behalf.
Beaches / Coast
As our guest you will enjoy free unlimited access to the Sea Castles Resort Beach which is approx.10 minutes from the Villa. The beach is quiet, private and secure. You may wish to relax with your favourite book, a picnic lunch, lay back and soak up the beautiful Jamaican sun or take leisurely swims in the warm Caribbean Sea, this is absolutely free! Approx. 20 minutes in the opposite direction and located off the Hip Strip in Mobay is the world famous Doctor's Cave Beach. With its beautiful white sands, restaurants and music, this is ideal for those who wish to have a less quiet beach experience, or as an alternative when in town for the day. There is an entrance and facilities fee. If a Theme Park is more your idea of fun, why not visit Aquasol, also located off the Hip Strip in Mobay. It also has a beach and offers watersports, go-carting, tennis a bar and restaurant.

Montego Bay is Jamaica’s second city and is also the country’s tourism capital. Gordonvilla is ideally located for easy travel to numerous attractions and entertainment venues. We are approx. 40 mins. from Greenfield Trelawny, the new venues for World Cricket 2007, 10 mins from Cinnamon Hill Golf Course for the Jazz & Blues Festival,an hour a half drive from Ochio Rios, with its numerous shops & craft markets. Under 2 hours North West brings us to Negril with its 7 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches. Negril sunset is a must see! We are surrounded by numerous restaurants the nearest being 5 minutes drive from the Villa. Mobay itself offers a wealth of bars and restaurants providing a variety of cuisines ranging from Indian, Chinese, Thai, continental and Jamaica. Indoor and outdoor eating experiences are available year round. There are entertainment venues ranging from dancing /nightclubs, blues bar to gaming rooms. We have a wide variety, all within 30 minutes drive.

Coral Gardens is one of Montego Bay's premier residential areas. It is adjacent to Iron Shore an equally lovely area. It is off the Rose Hall Main Road with its numerous prestigious hotels e.g. The Ritz Carlton, Half Moon, Sugar Mill, Wyndham, Holiday Inn but to name a few. Although a residential area, Coral Gardens and Iron Shore has a number of guest houses as we find visitors enjoy the quiet and security of a home setting, as entertainment is no more than half an hour’s drive. Residents of Coral Gardens take pride in their homes therefore we have well kept gardens, beautiful houses and friendly neighbours.

Jamaica has two international airports. Our nearest airport is the Sangster International at Montego Bay. This is approximately 20 minutes from Gordon Villa. Transfer from and to this airport is free. The Norman Manley International airport is located in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, and is approximately 4 hours drive from Montego Bay. Guests arriving at Norman Manley International can travel to Mobay by shuttle where they will be transferred to Gordon Villa free of charge. However due to distance and time transfer from and to Norman Manley International would incur charges.
