The fully equipped open plan kitchen has a microwave, fridge / freezer and coffee maker The spacious open plan lounge has a corner style suite with a folding out bed, cable TV dvd/cd player and the large patio doors give access to the balcony with sun bed, table and chairs where you can enjoy a meal, surrounded by a stunning view over the village of Arco.The bedroom in apartment has twin beds, fitted wardrobe, unit and mirror; the balcony can also be accessed from the bedroom patio doors. There is a laundry room, with washing machine, drying frame, iron and ironing board. The fully fitted bathroom has a shower, mirror with power points for shaver and hairdryer .Under cover parking right at the door, with automated gate at end of drive We have books /DVD of interests on the island, also information what is on and where to go. The apartments can sleep up to 3 persons and is the ideal base for exploring this beautiful island.
Casa Serena has a coffee bar 100m away, a mini supermarket 300m and a 10 minute walk to the near by hotel and 5 minute drive from calheta village with beach, marina, supermarket, hotel, restaurants and shops, with a 5 minute drive to the nearest lavada walk.

We are located 100m from a coffee/bar and 250m to a mini market , it is a 10 minute walk to the local hotel with a restaurant for non residents , in the village of Arco we have a post office chemist and a variety of shops .
It is a 5 minute drive to Calheta village ,where you will find a large supermarket , hotel, shops , restaurants with a new marina and golden sand beach.
We are 25 minutes by car from Funchal and 40 minutes to the airport
Some of the islands best walks are only 5 minutes by car this makes it a good location for exploring this beautiful island with its many varieties of flowers and plants .
