Description of Holiday Villa
Semi detached villa backing on to the sea with over to the islands. Will sleep 7 persons with 3 double and 1 single bedrooms. Large lounge with TV,DVD and satellite conections, dining room, fitted kitchen, rear garden with sun deck and patio furniture.
On complex next to hotel with use of their swimming pool.

Medical
Your doctor will advise you on the recommended vaccinations. It is, however, very important that malaria precautions are taken. Clinics and dispensaries take care of non-major medical treatment while state-run hospitals are available in all major towns. The Sabah Medical Centre is a private hospital with good health services
Currency
One Malaysian Ringgit (RM 1) is made up of 100 sen. Currency notes are issued in denominations of RM 100, RM 50, RM 20, RM 10, RM 5 and RM 2. Coins are in denominations of 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 sen. One UK pound is approximately RM 6.5

Car Hire
Driving in Malaysia is the same as the UK – on the left. It is very easy to get around although during rush hour the traffic is very congested.
We have negotiated discounted car hire with Extra Rent a Car (www.e-erac-online.com). If you do hire a car an international licence is required

Golfing – there are a number of championship courses within an hours driving distance from the villa.
Several golf courses in Sabah which are different areas one in the mountain of Kinabalu which is a course to be experienced.

Recognized for its ever increasing underwater wild-life and one of the best Scuba-dive sites, is Sipadan Island, just off Sabah’s south eastern shores. Divers are reporting good sightings of Barracuda, ‘white-tip’ Sharks and many Leatherback Turtles with excellent underwater photography conditions.

Further Details
There is a good variety of restaurants in Sabah from Japanese, Malay, Chinese to Korean, but seafood is a must. Choose your fish, prawns or lobsters swimming around in tanks and the restaurant staff will advise you the best way to have them cooked.
Local seafood restaurants nearby, 30 minutes drive to Kota Kinabalu city with night life, shoping malls, bars, a selection of different eating places along the sea front including Malay, Chinese, Italian,Indian, Japanese and of course Seafood

It is nine miles south of the airport and twelve miles from the capital city of Kota Kinabalu.
Directions to Holiday Villa
From the UK two airlines fly to Sabah.
Malaysian Airlines fly directly to Kuala Lumpar with an internal flight to Kota Kinabalu, They fly twice daily from Heathrow and 4 times per week from Manchester.
Royal Brunei fly to Kota Kinabalu via Brunei daily, with a refuelling stop in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
British Nationals do not require a visa to travel to Malaysia. Please ensure that your passport does not expire within 6 months of travelling.
