Description of Holiday Apartment

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Torrevieja, five minutes stroll to La Mata beach, in close proximity to local bars, restaurants, a large supermarket, a small grocery shop, car hire and an internet café.

Torrevieja is a beautiful town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It was once a small fishing village which has now developed into a thriving seaside town boasting some of the most spectator beaches in the area.

The area has quickly developed into one of the top respected tourist areas in Costa Blanca with many activities on offer for all age groups!

The apartment is located on the second floor of the ‘Roberto’ overlooking communal gardens and large swimming pool, with a
small paddling pool for children. There is also a sun roof terrace with stunning views.

Accommodation consists of:
Two bedrooms: Master bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Sliding patio doors lead out to a large balcony which overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. The second bedroom has one single fold up bed and a bunk bed. All linen is supplied.

The kitchen comes equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board, fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave oven, toaster and kettle. All utensils, crockery and cutlery are available. (Electric’s are 220 Volts, plug fittings are two pinned round.)

In the dining / lounge area there is a table seating four and a sofa. A Spanish dresser houses a radio with CD player and television with UK satellite channels.The lounge also has a sliding door that opens onto the balcony.

One bathroom with shower, bath, WC and wash hand basin. Towels are not provided.

Smoking and pets are not permitted in the apartment.

Beaches / Coast

Nearly all of the beaches in Torrevieja have been award the Blue Flags, an endorsement of the cleanliness of the waters and beaches. By the long winding promenade one will find a great selection of ice-cream bars, restaurants and bars. At its southern end of the 12km strip of beaches, near the apartment, there is a large area of sand dunes which have been reclaimed and now support an wonderful boardwalk (Molidon del Agua – the Watermill) which winds its way from the beach through to dunes and to the neighboring village of La Mata, a very pleasant stroll which takes approximately one hour! The beginning / end of this boardwalk is located five minutes from the apartment.

Special Interest

Torrevieja hosts an amazing array of small shops located in the heart of the town, there is something for everyone, fashion, leather, electrics, gardening, household etc.

Island of Tabarca :
The island of Tabarca is approximately 45 minutes to reach from Torrevieja. It’s beautiful waters are crystal clear and is a paradise for vacationers as there are no cars allowed!

Aquopolis Water Park Indiana Bill's Soft Play Park is a children's multi-activity soft play centre specially designed for kids aged 12 and under.

Terra Mitica : If you would like to be more adventurous with the rides there is the amazing Terra Mitica near Benidrom, approximately one hours drive from Torrevieja.
Friday morning market the center of Torrevieja. The market sells everything from fresh fruit to shoes, local art and crafts, clothing, and household wares.
There is a large Carrefour in the area for those who like everything under one roof it is located beside the Carrefour.

Disabled Access

The apartment block is wheelchair firendly, easy access to the front ddoor of the builing. There are two lifts also in the building.
