CASA PEQUEÑA, a charming one bedroom cottage sharing lush sub-tropical gardens with the resident owners farmhouse & El Apartament which is also available for self-catering holidays.
The properties are set in an agricultural area just outside Puntalón village, 3kms from the bustling market town & fishing port of Motril.
Granada city is less than 1 hour North, many white pueblos & Las Alpuijarras within 30 minute drive. The area remains unspoilt by tourism and overdevelopment and is popular with Spanish holiday makers - English not widely used. Perfect destination for relaxing holidays away from the package deal and other busy Spanish Costas. Many guests use as a base for bargain property searches! CAR ESSENTIAL to explore the many attractions of the area.
The accommodation is comfortable and traditional in style, a mixture of modern and antique with all facilities needed.

Spiral stairs lead to upstairs living room with double sofa-bed, French windows & balcony overlook the landscaped garden, mountains and swimming pool. Steps up to private roof terrace with views in all directions; Motril, Mediterranean & mountains - ideal place to share a bottle of Rioja and stargaze. Ground floor terrace with dining furniture for 4 leads to the double bedroom & en suite shower room.

Skiing Facilities
Sierra Nevada ski area ( Solynieve) is the most Southerly in Europe and easily accessed from the Casita. Easy 75 minute drive through spectacular scenery. Snow reliable from December-late April. Skiing is mainly intermediate, good beginners slopes, tuition and equipment hire. Many good shops, bars and restaurants make an interesting day trip for non-skiers.
Beaches / Coast
Casa Pequeña is just 10 minute drive from Motrils main beaches, 2kms (40 minute walk).
Many fishing villages and small resorts along this stretch of the Granada coastline - good tapas bars and restaurants on the busier beaches. Alongside diving schools and other watersports.
Further Details
Puntalón village has two restaurants & small bar. However, for everyday needs nearby Motril (5 minute drive) has excellent shopping, market, numerous restaurants & tapas bars.

Casa Pequeña is set at sea level just outside the small Spanish village of Puntalón, 3kms east of Motril on the Costa Tropical de Granada. It is an agricultural area and remains Spanish. No British type bars & restaurants, just tapas bars & authentic Spain. Use Motril for everyday needs & shopping. Well known resorts nearby include; Salobreña, Almuñecar , Nerja & Orgiva - all easy drive. Not forgetting Granada, Las Alpujaras & the Lecrin Valley.
