Description of Holiday Villa

Casa Sunflower is a luxury villa located on the edge of the Andalucia town of Coín in the heart of the Costa del Sol only 15 mins from Malaga Airport and 20 mins to the nearest beach.

The glitz and glamour resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are less than 30min drive via the new coastal link road.

Large private pool with terracing spectacular views and gardens

Lounge and Dining area.
Large lounge and dining area, leading on to two terraces facing to the east and west for morning and afternoon sun. Both terraces overlook the pool with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
The lounge is fully equipped with flat screen TV, DVD, Sat TV.

There is a double sofa bed for two people.

Dining
In the lounge there is a separate dining area with capacity and setting for up to 8 people. If you prefer dining alfresco you can use the dining area’s on the terrace or by the pool.

The lounge and bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with cooling and heating available.

Sun loungers are provided on the terraces.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a double bed and large fitted wardrobes, with views and windows leading onto the terrace.

Bedroom 2
The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and views to the mountain behind.

Kitchen
Large fully equipped kitchen with Hob / Oven, Washing Machine, Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher.

Bathroom
Large family bathroom with bath (shower over) WC, and a further separate shower area.

Cloakroom
There is a separate cloakroom with WC.

Pool House Apartment
There is a further one bedroom Pool apartment available as an optional extra, This forms part of the Basement area and leads out on to a private terrace at the pool side. The accommodation has a Lounge, I bedroom with En-suite bathroom. There is a Sofa in the lounge and Twin beds for the bedroom.
The apartment is available at an additional 150 Euro per week for any season.

Beaches / Coast

The Coast of the Costa del Sol is only a 20 min drive away, with beaches stretching the whole coast with everything from lively beaches and Torremolinos, trendy beaches at Marbella, water sports and surfing at Tarrifa and the more quiet beaches can be found in between

Special Interest

Casa Sunflower is lcoated in the Sierra Gorda hill complex, this mountain has new walks and great views of teh whole coast from the top.

Also nearby you can go horse riding and enjoy the Spainish countryside.

Disabled Access

The main accommodation is on one level, with a ramp leading to the lower terraces, there are 10 steps leading to the pool area, and three steps leading into the pool.

Further Details

Coín is one of the Andalucian towns that have yet to be touched by the tourist boom. It is just far enough from the coast to be out of reach of the high-rise hotels. The beautiful village of Coín is located at the cross-roads between Marbella and Mijas and is accessed by a brand new road network.
Coín nightlife is good with something to suit all tastes, from traditional tapas bars and bodegas and good restaurants to modern air conditioned wine bars to night clubs and disco's. You will find it far cheaper than in the major tourist areas and there is something for every age group. To it's credit, Coín is one of the few places close to the Costa's that remains reasonably intact so far as 'Spanish-ness' goes. It is a place full of history and fame.

Shopping.
Although in a rural setting just a 5 min walk from our villa is the new shopping village of “La Trocha” opened summer 2004. La Trocha has brought a superior quality of life to the area.
