Description of Holiday Apartment

The apartment is in a great location approximately 10 minutes walk from the main supermarket, bank and resort centre/beach. The apartment is set within a small complex complete with pool, there are 4 No. apartments in total and the pool is for residents use only. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table and large wardrobe, bedroom 2 has a single bed, bedside cabinet and cot and the third bedroom has a single bed, bedside cabinet and wardrobe.

Other facilities include fridge/freezer, oven/hob, ironing board/iron and washing machine.

Beaches / Coast

There are 3 main beaches in Altinkum, the main beach is 10 minutes walk from the apartment, the other two beaches are a further five minute walk.

Special Interest

Activities such as cycling, fishing, nightlife and water sports are available in and around Altinkum.

Further Details

There is a local market held in Didum every Saturday, which is only a 10 minute using the dolmus bus service from the resort centre. Nearby is Didum, where the ruins of the famous Temple of Apollo are found. The Temple of Apollo is one of the most outstanding buildings of the acient greek world, not only in size but in architectural style as well and can be explored during the day to closely examine the ruins.

There are many bars and restaurants located in and around Dolphin Square, most restaurants offer a free taxi service on the basis you dine at their restaurant.

Location of Holiday Apartment

The property is located in Hunters Valley, there is a small supermarket within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. The apartment is approximately 10 minutes walk from the resort centre, bank and main supermarket.

Directions to Holiday Apartment

During the summer season (May to October) there are many chartered flights that operate from the UK to Bodrum or Izmir airports. In the Winter season (November to April) and during the summer there are daily flights from many UK airports, during the Winter months most flights are via Istanbul airport, from there you can a connecting flight to Bodrum or Izmir airports. Transfer times from Bodrum to Altinkum 1 hour 10 minutes and 2 hours from Izmir.

If required i can organise transport to collect you from the airport to the apartment.

Please note a payment of £10 (per person) is required for a visa upon arrival in Turkey, this is valid for 3 months.
