Villa Alexandria is situated in The Dimcayi Valley where the sparkling waters of the Dimcayi river meet the colours of the Taurus Mountains. In this special place it is possible to swim in one of the waterfalls, or just sit and eat in one of the many restaurants at the floating tables on the river. Dimcayi is close to Alanya City with its Castle standing on the cliff top overlooking the city, the golden sands of the 2 bays and natural harbour. The harbour is beautiful with its many gullets and boats to hire. It is buzzing with boutiques, countless restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Sights include the Great Castle built in 1220, the Damlatas Cave with its eerie misshapen rock formations, the nearby Archaeology and Ethnography museum, and the three sea grottos.

Local sports include: White water rafting, fishing, climbing, bird watching, cycling, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, canoeing, water ski-ing, para gliding and bungy jumping.

Beaches / Coast

The nearest beach is the eastern beach which is just a 5 minute drive. It is a long sandy beach with beach bars and sunbeds to hire. The water is very clear and it's safe to swim.
The western beach of Alanya (The famous Cleopatra beach) is a 10 minute drive. This beach again is long and sandy.
Both the Eastern and Cleopatra beaches offer a large number of activities and are full people all day.
You will find volley ball, beach soccer, water-ski-ing; jet-ski-ing, parasailing, banana sailing and many more water sports.

Further Details

The local shop selling water, milk, bread etc. is a 2 minute walk away as is the the bus stop. The bus comes every 30 minutes and will take you to the 'Tesco' like supermarket, restaurants, beaches and beyond into Alanya city where the banks, post office, etc. are in (approx 10 mins drive).

The nearest airport is Antalya and is approx 1hr 30 mins drive away, private transfers (much less than the price of a tax)i & car hire can be arranged.
